New Projects!

My dear friend Dionne is having a baby! I am so honored to be making a few special things for Baby Rogers. Sex is yet to be determined but I think Dionne did a great job selecting fabrics that can be for a boy or a girl. This baby is more of a miracle than most and so my heart is so happy to start sewing for him/her!

First up is a diaper bag. Dionne was with me last year when I purchased this amazing book called "little stitches for little ones" by Amy Butler. The fabrics and colors are so beautiful I want to sing about them! But instead, I am happy to announce that I am making my first 'little stitch'!

McKenley's Nursery

I just finished my second nursery last month and have been anxiously awaiting pics! My friend Ashely lives in Springfield, MO so I have not gotten to see the bedding put together in the room in person yet. Our next trip to see Justin's family will defineitly include a stop to see this cheery nursery! Maybe by then Miss McKenley will be here!
I made the crib skirt, bumper, lined curtains with valance and ruffled baby blanket. Can't wait to meet the lucky lady who gets to enjoy this room!

Ryan Elizabeth's Nursery

Sweet room for a very sweet girl! Mom had a very clear plan for this nursery. Not your typical baby colors or patterns...but it all worked so well! I made the crib bumpers, box pleat crib skirt and lined drapes. So glad I got to have a part in it!
